These terms apply to your use of the Minutomo app, run by Brainnova. By using the app, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

1. The service

Minutomo presents classic books in short doses to read or listen to, with optional questions. The texts are plain-language adaptations of public-domain works, made with the help of artificial intelligence and reviewed by our team. They are a starting point to get to know a work; they do not replace the original book or professional advice.

2. Account

You can use part of the app without an account. To create one, enter an email address you own: you sign in with a code sent to it. You are responsible for access to your email. You must be at least 13, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account.

3. Free access and subscription

• No account: chapter 1 of The Art of War.
• Free account: the first 3 doses of every book.
• Minutomo Complete subscription: every dose in every book while it is active.

The subscription is monthly or yearly and is charged by the App Store or Google Play to your store account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel it in your store account settings. Cancellation takes effect from the next period, and you keep access until the end of the period already paid.

Refunds follow the rules of Apple or Google, which process the payment. If the price changes, the store will notify you in advance under its rules. App Store purchases are also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

4. Content and ownership

The original works are in the public domain. Our adaptations, summaries, questions, narrations, illustrations, characters (such as the app’s Sun Tzu) and the Minutomo brand belong to Brainnova. You may use them for personal study and share short excerpts with credit to Minutomo. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the content in bulk.

5. Acceptable use

Do not try to access other people’s accounts, bypass the subscription, scrape the content or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running, but it may have errors or downtime. We may change, add or remove books and features. If an important change affects your subscription, we will tell you first.

7. Liability

The content is educational. To the extent allowed by law, Brainnova is not liable for decisions made based on it or for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

8. Ending

You can stop using the app and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to contato@minutomo.com. Deleting your account does not cancel your store subscription: cancel it in your store settings too.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Consumers may bring claims in the courts where they live.
